Edward Harp

Mr. Edward Harp, age 94, husband of Doris Broughton Harp of Barbourville, KY passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 after living two years locally at Hidden Acres Nursing Facility in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee Graveside services will be held at later date in Barbourville, KY on the private property where his first wife, Mary Main Harp, is buried. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Mr. Harp was born in Kentucky to the late Martha (Davis) Harp and the late Ed Harp. He was a Veteran from the Navy and served in World War II, a Pentecostal by faith, and a member of the Scalf Chapel in Barbourville, KY. His trade was coalminer. In addition to his wife; he is survived by four grandchildren, Kathy Disch of Columbia, TN, Darline Harp Whitham of Pennsylvania; Dina Harp of Michigan; and Leah Harp Anderson of Michigan. Seven great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter.
