Joseph Levi Reischman

Joseph Levi "Bittles" Reischman, 3 month old son of Robert Joseph and Bethany Loralee Woody Reischman of Columbia passed away Thursday May 31, 2012 at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital in Nashville. Graveside Services will be Monday June 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Polk Memorial Gardens with Father Clare Hendricks officiating. Visitation for Joseph will be Sunday June 3, 2012 from 2-6 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. The Rosary will be said at 5 PM Sunday, Father Davis Chackaleckel officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. This infant son was truly a delight to his entire family. They fondly nicknamed him "Bittles". He was born into the Catholic Faith and his family were active members of local St. Catherine Catholic Church. Although he was only here on this earth for a short time, he will always have a special place in the heart of all of his family. In addition to his parents, Joseph is survived by two sisters: Kimberlyn Marie Reischman and Emma Claire Reischman of Columbia; brother: Andrew James Reischman of Columbia; maternal grandparents: Kent and Anita Woody of Columbia; maternal great grandfather: James Woody of Santa Fe; paternal grandmother: Katherine Reischman of Columbia. He is also survived by uncles and aunts: Caleb and Kara Burns of Pulaski and John and Alison Reischman of Columbia, as well as cousins: Isabelle and Easton Burns and Luke Reischman. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Dennis Reischman and great grandmother Margarette Woody. Pallbearers will be Marcus Ledet, Pat Deen, Caleb Burns, and John Reischman.
