Charles Wesley Suttles, Jr.

December 7, 1948 - February 10, 2014

Mr. Charles Wesley Suttles, age 65 of Columbia, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Friends are invited to gather together from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, February 13, 2014 for visitation. Additional services will be private. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Charles was born on December 17, 1948 and grew up in a farming environment near Sevierville, TN. His upbringing of hard work and honestly followed him through life. He worked as a house mover, cook and dishwasher before moving to the area 20 years ago. Once here, he became a dedicated and valuable employee of Pest-a-Rid Pest Control. His friend, Jimmy Hale, described Charles as the most dedicated and honest person a man could know. Charles was always quick to drop everything, though, for the opportunity to go fishing! In addition to three brothers and several nieces and nephews, he is survived by his friend and companion: Buster "Bo" Coffee of Columbia.
