Andrew Theodore Ande Watson, age 64 of Lutz, FL, and residing in Lewisburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at his daughters residence. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM on Monday, December 9, 2013 at the Lifesong Family Church at 1041 S. Ellington Pkwy in Lewisburg. The gathering will conclude at 6:00 PM with prayer offered by Pastor Rocky Cunningham and military honors provided by members of the United States Army. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Ande was born May 19, 1949 in Nashville and was the son of Robert Shirley Watson and Rosie Lee Fennell Watson. He served his country in the United States Army and was an Environmental/Underground Utilities Construction Foreman by trade. Although he made his home in Lutz, FL, he returned to middle Tennessee to be near family as his health began to fail him. Ande will be remembered as kind and loving, and a family man who always cared for others before himself. He loved to snow ski and deep sea fish, and had a passion for UT football. While living in Lutz, he loved playing ball with family and even coached his nephews football teams from peewee league through high school. He also ran in the Annual Lutz Independence Day Marathon, which was the main fundraising event for the Lutz Volunteer Fire Department. In addition to his parents, Ande was preceded in death by his son: Pete Watson; a grandson: Zachary; and three siblings: Christine Watson Rapp, Robert Watson Jr., and Janice Watson Palweski. He is survived by his daughter: Andrea (John) Derryberry of Lewisburg, 2 brothers: Charles (Margaret) Watson of Goodlettsville and Keith (Melody) Watson of Eden, UT; 4 sisters: Barbara (Billy) Crook of Goodlesttsville, Sandra Watson of Franklin, Annette Hindsley of Manchester, and Marsha Lewis of Panama City, FL; 7 grandchildren: Antonia, Bennett, Shania, Paige, Jace, Wesley and Kaylin; and one great-grandchild: Riley.
