Frances Browning

October 15, 1949 - August 24, 2013

Mrs. Dera Frances Browning, age 63 of Linden, passed away Saturday evening, August 24, 2013 at her daughters Culleoka residence. Her family celebrated her life with private services. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Frances was born October 15, 1949 in Robertson County and was the daughter of Rube and Susie Marie Bibee Latta. She was a homemaker and held a deep faith in her Creator. Her family describes her as being big-hearted and loving others. A servants attitude, Frances cared for her friends and family by worrying and doing things for them before worrying about herself. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and cats. When able, you could find her canoeing or kayaking, fishing or camping. She enjoyed being outdoors and spending time in nature, but absolutely loved going to yard sales to find that perfect bargain! With a beautiful voice, Frances and her husband would sing together. She could also be heard around the house singing to her family. If she was listening to music, you could be sure it was Elvis. She loved his music and even had the opportunity to see him in concert in Murfreesboro. Sharing their grief and honoring her memory, Frances is survived by her husband of 46 years: Larry Browning of Linden; a son: Sean Browning of Linden; daughter: Marcie Ibbotson of Culleoka; sister: Ruby Marie Latta of Nashville; and three grandchildren: Shana, Cody, and Colton. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Waymon Gainous. You may share condolences with the family at the top of this page.
