Hohenwald, TN " L. Jane Mudd, 84, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011, in her residence. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on November 13, 1926 to the late Lloyd and Nona (Allen) Lostutter. Jane married John W. Mudd on March 18, 1943 and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1985. She retired from Owens-Illinois Glass Factory after 37 years of employment. Jane was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary. She formerly made Raggedy Ann Dolls and enjoyed knitting and painting. Survivors include her daughter, Patty (Ronnie) Mosier, Hohenwald, TN; grandchildren, Susan Woodcox, John Michael Mosier, Missy Smith, and Shelly Mudd; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; siblings, Rhea (Gene) Wert, Marion, Nona Jean Brewer, Marion, Marian D. (Jim) Miller, Tucson, AZ, Martin Lostutter, Tucson, AZ, Nancy Ann (Paul) Beckham, Tucson, AZ, and Mary Alice, Tucson, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Nona Lostutter; husband, John W. Mudd; son, John Michael Mudd; sister, Marjorie Rush; and brother, Joe Lostutter. Visitation will be from 10 am - 12 pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana. Funeral Services are at 12 pm on Wenesday, October 26, 2011 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana with Reverend Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, Huntington County, Indiana.
