Sherry Kaye O'Field

February 15, 1966 - September 22, 2011

Ms. Sherry K. O'Field, age 45, a resident of Manchester, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services for Ms. O'Field will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11 AM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Monte McCanless officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and then again on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the service hour. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of arrangements. A native of Maury County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Dallas Scott and Shirley Stewart Scott Morgan. She attended Central High School and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Although she was disabled, she did not allow her disability to hold her back. She was active as she was able in her church and this devoted mother loved to crochet and she made beautiful afghans. Her sweet, gentle spirit and her loving ways will truly be missed by all of her friends and family. In addition to her mother Shirley and stepdad Billy G. Morgan, Sherry left behind to cherish her memory her son, Matthew Dallas O'Field of Manchester, TN; two sisters: Tammy (Billy) Scott Covington of Bell Buckle, TN and Terri Dawn (Scott) Hildenbrandt of Culleoka, TN; nieces: Tiffany Lynn Hildenbrandt (Chris) Cornelius of Culleoka, TN, Kayla Brooke Hildenbrandt of Culleoka, TN, Katrina Ann Hildenbrandt of Culleoka, TN, , Jessica (Jamie) Cassidy of Bell Buckle, TN, Tosha Nicole Totty of Murfreesboro, TN, Chelsea Covington of Bell Buckle, TN and Tara Beth Totty of Nashville, TN, nephews:, Heath Covington of Bell Buckle, TN, and William B.J. Covington of Murfreesboro, TN; a great niece, Sophie Cassidy of Bell Buckle, TN; step sister, Roxanne (Brian) Rollison of Waterford, MI, two step-brothers: Russell (Elaine) Morgan of Shelby Township, MI, and Randall (Nora) Morgan of Ft. Worth, TX; and several step-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will include: Travis Warf, Brent Warf, Kenny Lancaster, James Dickey, Tim Harris and Chris Cornelius.
