Mr. Jeffrie Harry Jessup, age 64, resident of Columbia, TN and husband of Vann Jessup, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the VA Hospital in Nashville, TN. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, December 9, 2011 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends from 3:00-4:00PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements and is assisting the family. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late William Jessup and Katherine Kerrick Jessup. He was a quiet, soft spoken man who adored his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He served in the U.S, Army during the Vietnam War era and retired from the Army Reserves. A long time resident of Wheststone, AZ, he retired as a financial analyst in 2005 and in 2006, he moved to Tennessee to be closer to his beloved grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by family and friends who loved him dearly. In addition to his wife, Mr. Jessup is survived by sons, Doug (Pat) Jessup of Fort Hood, TX, Harry (Kiley) Jessup of Spring Hill, TN and Danny Jessup of Douglas, AZ; daughter, Judy Jessup of Columbia, TN; brothers, Jerry Jessup and Jay Jessup of IN; sister Jill Jessup of IN and 8 grandchildren.
