Linda Sue Fly Cooper Linda Sue Fly Cooper, age 60, a resident of Amber Lynn Circle in Columbia, Tennessee, died Monday, September 13, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services for Ms. Cooper will be conducted Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 11 am in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Alexander and Jim Beck officiating. Interment will follow in the Fly Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 5 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home will be assisting the family and is in charge of arrangements. A native of Maury County, Tennessee, Ms. Cooper was the daughter of the late Johnny Fly and the Late Lucille Brady Fly. She was a member of the Highland Church of Christ. Ms. Cooper is fondly remembered by her family for her many commendable attributes. They lovingly recall her great sense of humor and her giving nature. Sue was the type of person to do without to help others. Her strong will and love for elderly people made her the special woman she was. In addition to her prized collection of pig figurines, she loved to go to yard sales and video her precious grandchildren. A special loving good-bye is wished by Brittany, Kourtney, and Kasey Rodriquez to their Nana. Also Terrie Marple wishes a fond farewell to her Mamma . Ms. Cooper left behind to cherish her memory her longtime companion Yvonne Isabell of Columbia, TN; three granddaughters: Brittany Mercedes Rodriquez of Madisonville, TN, Kourtney Yvonne Rodriguez of Columbia, TN, and Kasey Sue Rodriquez of Bartlett, TN; one niece, Terrie F. Marple of Irmo, SC, one nephew, Bobby Lee (Pamela) King of Fayetteville, TN; one great niece, Natasha (Mark) Walleman of Beloit, WI; two great nephews: Austin Ferguson of Irmo, SC, and Trevor Marple of Irmo, SC; two great-great nephews: Peyton Walleman and Blake Walleman both of Beloit, WI; one aunt and several cousins. In addition to her parents, Ms. Cooper was preceded in death by two brothers: John H. Fly and James E. Fly; one daughter, Tracy Dawn Fly Rodriquez, two sisters: Marry Lee Fly and Mildred Louise Fly. Active Pallbearers will include: Calvin Scott, Wayne Scott, David Scott, Reddick Scott, Tommy Reese, and Marvin Buddy Reese. Honorary Guests will be Kenneth and Martha Scott, the Nursing Staff of the Skilled Nursing Unit at MRMC, and the Countryside Nursing Home in Lawrenceburg, TN In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
