Mrs. Willie Mae Morrow Hines, 81, widow of John W. Buddy Hines, Jr. and resident of Crafton Foster Road in the Hampshire Community, died Thursday, January 4, 2007 at NHC/ Hillview Health Care. Funeral services for Mrs. Hines will be conducted Sunday, January 7, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Highland Church of Christ with Curtis Dowdy , Frank Wells, and Wayne Hardison officiating. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 4:00 until 8:00 P.M. at Heritage Funeral Home, 2120 Circle Drive, Columbia, and Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church. The Hampshire native was the daughter of the late Manley Walker and Lettie Pearl Anderson Morrow. She was retired co-owner and operator of Hines Plumbing and Heating with her husband and former employee of Aldersons Cleaners. She was a member of Cedar Hill Church of Christ. For many years, Mr. and Mrs. Hines entertained family and friends at their camp on Deer Creek in Perry County on the Tennessee River. She was always involved in the activities of her children and grandchildren. She is survived by two daughters, Janet Martin and Cheryl (John) Oakes both of Columbia, TN; a son, John W. Johnny (Sheila) Hines of Hampshire, TN; six grandchildren, Carley (Tony) Bush, Anna Martin, Shannon Hines, John David Oakes, Dustin Lee Martin, and Will Oakes; two sisters, Gerline Gibson and Betty Fleming both of Columbia, TN; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Elliott; a brother, William Bill Morrow. Pallbearers will be John David Oakes, Will Oakes, Dustin Martin, Joseph Brown, Mike Lindsey, Eddie Alderson, Bill Sparks, Elliott Jackson, and Danny Fleming. Honorary pallbearers will be men of Cedar Hill Church of Christ, Frank and Ava Nell McMeen, Jack and Lavonne Oakes, Phil and Sandra Lindsey, Harold and Faye Jackson, Bobby and Eleanor Riddle, Bill and Sue Fly, Betty Fleming, Foster Sonny Fleming, Mike Morrow, Tommy Fly, Frank and Jane Wells, Larry Brown, Gavin Brown, Kathy Murphy and Dean Mulholland, Larry and Ann Murphy, Dr. Linda Monroe, Gail Kincade, Dr. Frances Kopecky, Martin and Linda Jobe, Stephen Brooks, Vernon Brooks, Jack and Daisy White, Curtis Dowdy, Nettie Pearl Russell, Charles and Dot Whorley, Charles and Faye Martindale.
