Justin Richard Krog, 23, a sophomore at Columbia State Community College, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at his residence on Austell Drive in Columbia. The Funeral Mass for Mr. Krog will be conducted Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Henry, Illinois with Father Thomas Mizeur officiating. Burial will be in St. Patricks Cemetery in Henry. The family will visit with friends Tuesday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the church. Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon, Illinois is in charge of service arrangements. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangments. Mr. Krog is a 2004 graduate of Smyrna High School and was attending school at Columbia State Community College with his goal being to be an Astro- Physicist. He was a member of abovetopsecret.com, which is the internet's largest and most popular discussion board community dedicated to the intelligent exchange of ideas and debate on a wide range of "alternative topics". Mr. Krog loved astronomy and he enjoyed fishing, bowling, and was a Tennessee Titans fan. In addition to his parents, he is survived by sister, Natasha (Donald) Voorhees of Murfreesboro, TN; a niece, Michele Voorhees and a nephew, Stefan Sundberg, both of Murfreesboro, TN; four uncles, Anthony Tochalauski of Leavenworth, KS, Frank Tochalauski of Peoria, IL, Bill Tochalauski of Kennesaw, GA and Tony Tochalauski of Honolulu, HI; three aunts, Camilla (David) Russell of Chillicothe, IL, Emma Tochalauski of Lacon, IL and Robbie Carr of Henry, IL. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ted and Elizabeth Krog and his maternal grandparents, Dr. Anton F. and Jean D.Tochalauski. Memorials may be made to your charity-of-choice.
