Mr. Michael Wayne Burchell, 57, husband of Sheila Bonds Burchell for 33 years, tragically died on Friday, April 30, 2010 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. Funeral Services for Mr. Burchell will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Monday, May 3, 2010 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home. The family will visit with friends Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 4:00PM " 8:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lynnwood cemetery in Lynnville. Heritage Funeral Home will be assisting the family and is in charge of arrangements A native of Giles County, he is the son of the late Margaret Goodwin Burchell and the late Rogers Burchell. Mr. Burchell is the owner of Glassbusters of Columbia for over 30 years. He was of the Christian faith and loved his family and grandchildren. In addition to his business and family; he enjoyed farming. In addition to his wife, Mr. Burchell is survived by One daughter; Jenifer Foster of Pulaski; Three sons; Jonathan Burchell, Jeremy Burchell, Jared Burchell; all of Columbia; One granddaughter, Amber Foster of Pulaski, Two grandsons, Trenton Robbins of Pulaski, and, Brenton Burchell of Columbia; 5 Brothers; Stan (Wanda) Burchell; Don (Jeannie) Burchell; Rusty Burchell; Jim Burchell; Bob (Sarah) Burchell all of Pulaski; 4 Sisters; Barbara (Bill) McCord; Gina Spain both of Pulaski; Carol (Jimmy) Gardner of Lawrenceburg; Jan (Jeff) Darnell of Chapel Hill and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his grandparents; Charles and Louise Goodwin; Dave and Lena Burchell. Pallbearers will be, Jeremy Burchell, Jared Burchell, Don Burchell, Jim Burchell, Stan Burchell, Rusty Burchell, Teddy Anderson, and Jeff Bonds.
