Christopher Michael Chris Huntley, 36, formerly of Franklin, died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at his residence in Cullman, Alabama. Funeral Services for Mr. Huntley will be conducted on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Georgina Bearden officiating. The family will visit with friends on Thursday, October 22, 2009 from 4:00 " 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born in Bay City, Michigan, he was the son of Stephen J. Steve and Kathleen Baniewicz Kathy Huntley of Columbia. He was married to Stacey Kelley Huntley, who survives. Mr. Huntley was a 1991 graduate of Franklin High School where he was a member of the ROTC program. He attended Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro for 3 years. Mr. Huntley served 4 years in the United States Navy and served his country during Desert Storm. He was the Waste Plant Operator for the city of Franklin Treatment Plant and was formerly a produce manager for Albertsons in the Middle Tennessee area, and a former employee of Harris Teeter Grocery in the Middle Tennessee area. Mr. Huntley enjoyed hunting, fishing, Titans football, and loved his dogs, Lady, and Puppy, and cats, Smoky and Socks. In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by a son, Tyler Brown of Cullman, AL; a brother, Steve (Kathleen) Huntley, II of Charlotte, MI; a sister, Stacey (Johnny) Hartley of Chapel Hill, TN; a paternal grandmother, Beulah Huntley of Columbia, TN; aunts and uncles, Shirley (Mark) Beeman of Bay City, MI, Ron (Kathy) Huntley of Bay City, MI, Kim Huntley of Bay City, MI, Kathy (Marv) Sumner of Chapel Hill, TN, Gerald (Barbara) Hartman of Spring Hill, TN, Richard (Debra) Hartman of Chapel Hill, TN; nephews, Johnny Hartley, Jr. and Cameron Hartley, both of Chapel Hill, TN; cousins, Nicholas Huntley, Kaycee (Andy) Alvesteffer, Ron Huntley, Rachel (Scott) Carpenter; several other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Brown, Steve Huntley, II, Johnny Hartley, Jay Hartley, Steve Buoy and Tom Justice.
