Mrs. Carol Boggs, 80, went to be with the Lord Monday, June 29th at her residence after a lengthy illness. A memorial service is planned at a later time in her home state of Pennsylvania. Heritage Funeral Home & Cremation Services, llc is assisting the family with arrangements. Born on January 5th, 1929 to Grace and C.V. Park in New Kensington, PA, Carol worked as a homemaker and assisted in the Plum Borough School System working with children with learning disabilities. Upon moving to Naples, FL, Carol worked as an office manager and surgical assistant to several ophthalmologists. After retiring she moved to Columbia, TN and was a member of Zion Presbyterian Church. She loved to decorate and loved her family. Survivors include husband Walter P. Boggs of Columbia; one daughter: Carol (Scott) Craig of Milwaukee, WI; and two sons: John Clifford (Donnis) Boggs of Carol Stream, IL, and Jeffrey P. Boggs Sr. (Terry) of Columbia; granddaughters Emily and Lauren Craig of Milwaukee, WI; grandsons Aaron, Eric, and Ethan Boggs of Carol Stream, IL, Jeffrey P. (Sara) Boggs Jr. and Bryan L. Boggs of Columbia; great-granddaughter Bailee Ann Boggs, and great-grandson Wesley P. Boggs of Columbia, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters Betty Park, Dorothy Leavitt, and Loree Cummings, and brother Malcolm Park. The family is extremely grateful for the loving care Carol received from the entire Hospice Compassus team.
