Kevin Ray Hodges, 44, a resident of Clinch Drive in Columbia, died Tuesday, November 17th at Metro General Hospital in Nashville. Funeral Services for Mr. Hodges will be conducted on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Dave Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday, November 20, 2009 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 3:00 " 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Maury County, he was the son of Raymond Clarence Gip Hodges of Pulaski and Martha Logue Hodges Vick of Columbia. Mr. Hodges was a former employee of Swarco Industries, where he worked as a furnace operator. He has also worked at Service America and Toms Vending Company. Mr. Hodges enjoyed fishing, playing cards, NASCAR, football, but most of all, his children and grandchildren. He was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Nicholas Ray Nick Hodges and a daughter, Erica Nicole Hodges, both of Columbia; mother of his children and a special person, Leva June Clark Hodges of Columbia; a sister, Lisa Hodges Slaton of Pulaski; two grandsons, Tyler Nicholas Hodges and Landon Shawn Hodges, both of Columbia; a niece, Cameron Bryant of Columbia; a nephew, Devin Bryant of Murfreesboro; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clifton Logue and Lizzie Bell Johnson Logue; paternal grandparents, Raymond Hodges, Sr. and Eva Hope Brown Hodges. Active Pallbearers will be Devin Bryant, Terry Bubba Deason, Johnny Watkins, Greg Morton, Darrell Clark, and Lanny Holland. Honorary Guests are Terry Hollis, Roger Morrow, Jeff Stanford, Bradley Clark, and Keith Lyons. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.heritage-fhcs.com.
