Melba Parks, age 65, and a resident of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at her residence. The family will celebrate her life with private services at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Melba was born on August 22, 1947 in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was the daughter of John and Margaret Davis Morris. She was married to Mr. Calvin Parks, and she worked as a homemaker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters: Melissa Casserly, Sarah Branch, and Jennifer Hancock; and several grandchildren.
