Mrs. Lura Ernestine Davidson Parks,73, formerly of Darks Mill Road in Columbia and resident of Palmetto, Florida, died Thursday, February 15, 2007 in Florida where she had made her home for the past several years. Services for Mrs. Parks will be conducted Monday, February 19, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Houston Parks and Reverend Jeff Jacob officating. Burial will be in the Neapolis Cemetery. The family will visit with friends Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Ernest and Ada Jones Davidson. She was previously married to Jerry Ray Parks who died in 1997. She was a homemaker and former employee of Pelikan Industries in Franklin. She was always actively involved in the affairs of her children including being a volunteer at Riverside Elementary School and Palmetto Elementary School in Florida. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Lura Kimberly (Ron) Perry of Mt. Juliet, TN, Jerei Ellen Parks of Palmetto, FL; a son Norman Alexander Parks, II of Hurricane Mills, TN; grandchildren, Lura Elizabeth Keogh and Jacob Paul Elston of Palmetto, FL; Jerry Ray Parks, II of Hurricane Mills, TN; Chelsea Perry and Krista Perry of Tulsa, OK; and Kelly Perry of Murfreesboro, TN; a brother, Hazel Davidson of Culleoka; and a nephew, Tony Davidson, Culleoka. Pallbearers will be Michael Russell, Randy Russell, Roger Morrow, Russ Prince, Derrick Potts, Chris Potts, and Mike Goldman. Honorary pallbearers will be Dave and Christine Braunscheidel, Anthony Anglin, Beverly Sugg, Dr. Joseph Gainey, Dr. Phillip Troyer, Ron Perry, and Lyn Smith. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, American Heart Association, RIF Program (c/o Columbia Kiwanis Club, P. O.
