Sharon Denise Hardison Sandrell, 52, wife of Marvin Sandrell and resident of Pulaski Highway, died Monday, May 18, 2009 at Life Care Center of Columbia. Services for Mrs. Sandrell will be conducted Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 3:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home. with Reverend Gene Shelton, Russ Adcox, & David Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Tuesday, May 19, 2009 from 5:00 " 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A native of Maury County, she is the daughter of Delois Fitzgerald Hardison of Columbia and the late Norman E. Hardison, Sr. Mrs. Sandrell was the co-owner and Office Manager of Sandrell Heating & Air. She was a former employee of Tennessee Career Center and Regional Manager of Staffmark. She enjoyed her grandchildren, fishing, going to Shoal Creek in Florence and was an avid gardener and decorator. Mrs. Sandrell was a member of Leadership Maury and attended Maury Hills Church of Christ. In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by her daughters, Holly (Robert) Thyen of Columbia and Jill (Wesley) Pless of Columbia; step-sons, Tim (Glenda) Sandrell of Spring Hill and Chris (Laura) Sandrell of Ethridge; brothers, Norman E. (Joan) Hardison, Jr. of Columbia, Anthony (Tasca) Hardison of Columbia, and Milton (Debbie) Hardison of St. Louis, Missouri; grandchildren, Kelsey Thyen, John Robert Thyen, Brandon ( Monica) Sandrell, T.J. Sandrell, Allison Sandrell, Dustin Sandrell, Annlee Sandrell, and Sadie Sandrell; several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Alan Hardison, T.J. Sandrell, Brandon Sandrell, Wade Sandrell, Ronnie Erwin, and Steve Bostleman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jennifer Richardson, Lori King, Susie Gilliam, Carol Wilson, Kathy Cook, Sally Parr, employees of Sandrell Heating & Air, members of Maury Hills Church of Christ, members of Elmore Church of the Nazarene, and employees of Life Care Center of Columbia. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Ave., Nashville, TN 37203, or Hospice Compassuss, 1412 Trotwood Avenue,Suite 5, Columbia, TN 38401.
