Lloyd G. Kelly

Lloyd G. Kelly, 65, a resident of Tice Drive in the Culleoka community, and formerly of Clinton, Michigan, died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Maury Regional Medical Center. Services for Mr. Kelly will be conducted Sunday, May 31, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Swango officiating. Burial will be in the Polk Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends Saturday, May 30, 2009 from 5:00 " 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. A Kentucky native, he is the son of the late Calvin U. and Alafair Mullins Kelly. Mr. Kelly was married to Sandra L. Johnson Kelly for 44 wonderful years. He retired from GM in Spring Hill where he worked as a mechanical technician. He collected knives, and enjoyed reading westerns. He was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Gregory Kelly of Columbia, and Eric B. Kelly of Culleoka; a sister, Goldie (Bob) Stahl of Taylor, MI; 2 granddaughters, Grace Kelly and Emma Kelly; a grandson, Noah Kelly; a special pet, Rhett; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and 6 sisters. Pallbearers will be Jim Johnson, Bob Savage, Jim Shewbart, Frank Justice, Charlie Lyons, Johnny Wright, Jeff Newsome, and Keith Justice.
