Mrs. Patricia A. Rieves, age 57, a resident of Lewisburg, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at her daughters residence in Lewisburg following an extended illness. A Funeral Service for Patricia will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Richard VanCleave officiating. Interment will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. Born in Detroit, Michigan she was the daughter of the late John Fred Long and the late Virginia Wise Long. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and worked as a grill cook for Bucky's and Kathy's Restaurants in Columbia, Tennessee. Her family recalls how she always loved to make people laugh. She enjoyed fishing and she was a very strong lady. She never met a stranger. She loved to cook for her family and all the people she loved. The most important time to her was her family time. Her children and grandchildren were her joy in life! Her loving and caring ways will truly be missed by everyone. In addition to her husband, Michael E. Rieves, Patricia left behind to cherish her memory a son, Tony (Amy) Stout of Lewisburg, TN; her daughter, Lynn Stout Tucker of "Blondie" Lewisburg, TN; three brothers: Jim (Sybil) Long of Cadiz of KY, Ronald (Roberta) Long of Columbia, TN and Donald Long of Columbia, TN; one sister, Ruby Prince of Columbia, TN; and eight grandchildren: Bradley MacDonald, Timmy & Trenton Turner, Patrick Wuesthoff, Karli Stout, Payton Stout, and Jakoria & Max Stout. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Stout and a brother John Fred Long, Jr. Pallbearers will include William Garrett, Bradley MacDonald, Timmy Turner, Clint Montgomery, Trenton Turner and Patrick Wuesthoff.
