Donna Kay Owens

November 9, 1946 - September 13, 2011

Mrs. Donna Kay Owens, 64, (PONY LADY), of Fairview, TN went to be with the Lord on Sept. 13, 2011. Mrs. Owens was known for her dedication to making children of all ages happy through sharing of her beautiful miniature horses. She received accolades for her untiring commitment to Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital, the Tennessee School for the Blind and numerous other organizations. She was also an exceptional poet and author. Most of all she was loved by all who were touched by her unselfish spirit. Mrs. Owens was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Jones Owens and father, Joseph C. Gibson. She is survived by mother, Ruby Gladys Baker Gibson; daughters Paula Bruch (Aaron) of Smyrna and Linda Kelly of Fairview; brother, Joseph C. Gibson, Jr. (Karen) of Middleburg, FL; sisters, Connie Sue Centrella (Michael) of Nashville and Betty Seabourn (Lonnie) of Bon Aqua; grandchildren, Christian, Dominic and Victoria Bruch, Katelynn Kelly, Adam and Matthew Lemay. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011 at Westview United Methodist Church in Fairview, Rev. Don Sensing officiating.
