Donna Foster, age 56, a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2012. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday October 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the New Hope Cemetery at Talley Station located on Old Fishing Ford Road in Petersburg, TN with Pastor James Wynn officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. A native of Lewisburg, TN, Donna was the daughter of Mary Ellen Foster and the late Rufus Guy Foster, Jr.. She was a 1973 graduate of Marshall County High School and a graduate of Austin Peay State University. She worked as an advisory software engineer for IBM and was a former employee of the Federal Reserve Bank in Nashville, TN. She was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her mother, she left behind to cherish her memory her siblings: Bob (Debbie) Foster of Valdosta, GA, Sharon Foster of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Teresa Foster of Grayson, GA, Jim (Terry) Foster of Birmingham, AL, and Susan (Gary) Foster Brown of Grayson, GA; and ten nieces and nephews.
