Tammy Michelle Phillips, age 51 and a resident of Centerville, Tennessee passed away February 22, 2012 at her residence. Tammy's family will celebrate her life on Saturday, February 25 at 6:00 PM at the Keystone Apostolic Church at 404-C W. Public Square in Centerville. They are being assisted by Franklin Family Funeral Service & Cremations. Tammy was the daughter of the late George Curtis McClary and Dorothy Ann Shavers McClary, and the wife of Ricky Phillips. She and Ricky met as young adolescents. Their friendship remained through high school and beyond. Except for a few years when Tammy lived away, she and Ricky has been together. They married in 1987 and had three children from their union. Before her health failed her, she was a waitress with Waffle House at both the Dickson and White Bridge Road locations. Tammy loved her family. She enjoyed being with them and the time they spent together. She also enjoyed spending some of her free time watching television, especially the uplifting programming she found on TBN that allowed her to grow in her faith. She was affiliated with Keystone Apostolic Church in Centerville. Tammy is survived by her husband of 26 years: Ricky Phillips of Centerville; a daughter: Ashley Phillips of North Carolina; two sons: Danny Phillips and Mark Phillips of Centerville; two brothers: Mike McClary of Bellvue and Terry McClary of North Carolina; and three grandchildren: Andrew, Mariah, and Gage.
