Phillip Michael Prewett

September 11, 1952 - June 26, 2013

Mr. Phillip Prewett, age 60, husband of Teresa Prewett, to whom he was married 41 years, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Maury Regional Medical Center. A celebration of life service for Mr. Prewett will be conducted Sunday, June 30, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 5-7 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of all arrangements. Born on September 11, 1952 in Anderson, Indiana, he was the son of the late Henry Prewett and June Hood (Forrest Wally ) Wallace. He worked in general assembly at General Motors, and in his early years, Phillip enjoyed riding motorcycles. He loved the St. Louis Cardinals, and enjoyed his time teaching his grandsons how to play baseball. In his spare time he played mens softball and participated in bass fishing tournaments. Phillip also enjoyed cooking. In addition to wife and mother, Phillip is survived by a daughter: Tifany Prewett of Columbia; brother: Paul (Trina) Prewett of Markelville, IN; and three grandchildren: Dathan, Darien, and Brooklyn Prewett.
