Mrs. Hazel Stewart Manire, age 84, wife of Jim Manire, of North Ridge Road in Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on April 8, 2011, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia. Funeral Services for Mrs. Manire will be held at 10:00AM Monday, April 11, 2011 in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home, Elmer Lusk officiating. Interment will be in Beechwood Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Brett Devitt, Danny McCracken, Jeff Rummage, Johnny Paul Manire, Matt Guttowsky, Reed Manire, Wade Patton and Allan Uselton. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Gilbert and Bufford Moss. The family will visit with friends from 2:00-6:00PM Sunday, April 10, 2011 and an hour prior to the service on Monday. A native of Annes Station in Marshall County, TN, she was the daughter of the late William Claude and Ollie Ree Anderson Stewart. Mrs. Manire worked as secretary and bookkeeper for the business she owned with her husband, Jims Auto Supply of Columbia. In addition to her husband, she left behind to cherish her memory a son, Kenny (Dionne) Manire of Columbia; two daughters, Jean (Jack) Wardlaw of Columbia and Becky Ferruccio of Thompsons Station; five grandchildren, Sam Ferruccio and Gabrielle Ferruccio of Thompsons Station and Mia, Eva and Nina Manire of Columbia and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Henry and Willie Stewart and sisters, Alice Maupin, Thelma McAdams, Lena Manire and Minnie McFarland.
