Sarah Graham

March 17, 1994 - June 29, 2011

Miss Sarah Kinzie Graham, age 17, daughter of Sean & Jennifer Graham, and a resident of Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee and upcoming graduate in 2012 at Summertown High School passed away in a tragic automobile accident on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. Funeral Services for Sarah will be held on Saturday, July 02, 2011 at 2:30 PM in the chapel of Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Morgan and Pastor Chad Bonee officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. Prior to the funeral service, the family will visit with friends from 11:30 AM until the funeral hour. In addition, the family will visit with friends on Friday, July 01, 2011 in the gymnasium of the Summertown High School from 4:00 until 7:00 PM; concluding with a prayer service at 7:00 PM. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of the arrangements. Sarah was born at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia and was raised in Mt. Pleasant. Throughout her short life, Sarah was always a very outgoing and loving person. As most people who knew her would tell you, Sarah could warm anyones heart with her beautiful smile. Her laugh was contagious and her love for life and people in general afforded her a host of friends. If you were sad, her entertaining spirit would pick you up. If you were lonely and Sarah was around, the loneliness would dissipate as she would welcome you into friendship. In her high school years, Sarah discovered her love for basketball. As her mother said, she ate, lived, and breathed basketball. Her dad proudly pointed out that she was a straight A student. A life cut short, but one who touched many lives describes her 17 years here on this earth. In addition to her parents, Sarah left to cherish her memory three sisters: Grace Arrington (Ryan) Richards of Atlanta, GA, Danielle Marie Graham of Lansing, MI, and Brittany Renee Graham of Los Alamos, NM; her grandfather, Kinzie Barker of Decaturville, TN, grandmother, Cecile Pierce of Lansing, MI, Uncle Brent and Aunt Tracy Barker of Mt. Pleasant, TN, Uncle Sam Graham of Lansing, MI, Uncle Jim (Caroline) Graham of Pheonix, AZ, nephew, Tollan Anteau, cousins: Eryn, Rachel, Rebecca and Isaac Barker all of Mt. Pleasant, TN; and a host of friends. Sarah was preceded in death by her grandmother Camille Bailey Barker and her grandfather Earl Graham. Pallbearers will include: Will Kittrell, Tyler Tietgens, Tyler Holloway, Sam Curtis, Jared Wright, Coach Phil Willard and Coach Craig McGill.
