Anne Lynn Walker Houston, age 75, of Water Valley, MS, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at Sterling House Assisted Living Community in Columbia, TN. Graveside Funeral services for Anne L. Houston will be held at the Charleston (MS) Cemetery at 11AM on Friday, October 12, with Andy Halsey officiating. Interment will be beside her husband, Raymond, at the Charleston Cemetery. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family and in charge of local arrangements. Anne was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 22, 1937. She is survived by her children: James A. Gray (Cynthia) of Cookeville, TN; Scott A. Gray (Carolyn) of Kossuth, MS; Laura L. Graves (Jeffrey) of Loretto, TN and Stacey E. Ward of Olive Branch, MS; 2 step-children: Cynthia Houston McCoy of Grenada, MS and Lee Houston (Conni) of Charleston, MS. 9 Grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Houston; her parents, Lynn Rhea and Frances Land Walker, and her sister, Julie Walker Mercer.
