Dinesh Anand

June 9, 1950 - January 29, 2014

Dinesh Anand, age 63 of Columbia, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Maury Regional Medical Center. Services and visitation will begin at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Heritage Funeral. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Dinesh was a dedicated husband, loving father, and loyal friend. He was born in Delhi, India on June 9, 1950. He came to the United States as a young man and settled in Columbia, TN where he began a career as a radiology technician which would span 37 years. Dinesh married his beloved wife Ranjana on January 29, 1981. The couple was blessed with their son Sumit on July 5, 1985 and their daughter Neeti on July 31, 1990. Always ready to give of himself, Dinesh was an integral part of his family and community who will be long remembered for his wit, warmth, and generosity. He was preceded in death by his parents: Surinder Nath Anand and Phul Kumari, his brothers:Virender and Anil Kumar Anand; and his in-laws:s: Vasdaev and Sita Gupta. Survivors include his wife: Ranjana Anand of Columbia; his children: Sumit Anand and Neeti Anand, both of Atlanta, GA; his nephew: Bharat Anand of Delhi, India; his nieces: Bhavna Anand Sikka of Delhi, India, Priya Anand of Hohenwald, and Supriya Anand de Koning of Spring Hill; sons-in-law: Vincent De Konig of Spring Hill and Peush Sikka of Delhi, India; his great niece: Maya de Koning of Spring Hill; and his sisters-in-law: Veena Anand of Hohenwald and Rehka Anand of Delhi, India.
