Alesia Michelle Welch, age 52, a resident of Columbia, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 in Clarksville, Tennessee.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11AM at the Buena Vista Church of Christ: 2520 Buena Vista Pike in Nashville, Tennessee 37135. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Alesia Welch was born on January 29, 1967 in Nashville, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Bernard Campbell and Christine Mae Lewis. Alesia was baptized at a young age at the Madison Church of Christ. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of the Buena Vista Church of Christ in Nashville Tennessee. She was a graduate of Maplewood High School and earned her Associates Degree in Computerized Accounting from Brenell College. Alesia loved children and owned Stair Steps to Success Daycare for eleven years. She later worked in customer service for CVS Caremark for eight years and most recently worked at Anthem Insurance Company.

Alesia enjoyed reading the Harry Potter Book series and watching action movies, including: Star Wars, Star Trek , and Marvel . She was a genuinely sweet and caring person. Alesia had a big heart and love doing whatever was needed to help other people. She was the backbone of her family and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Alesia leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter and son: Cardelia and Michael Welch, her brothers: Walter Welch, Reginald Welch, Adrian (Fabiola)Welch, Cory Campbell, Terrell Campbell all of Nashville, her sisters: Leah Lavender of Nashville and Regina Caldwell, her grandchildren: Ezra Welch and Elijah Welch, and special niece Jasmine Crook and nephew: Antonio Crook, and aunts and uncles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandmother Thelma Cardelia Lewis, and grandfather Jim Lewis, and nephew Eric Crook.
