Barbara Stevens of Lyles, Tennessee

Barbara Stevens, age 90, and a resident of Lyles, TN, passed away Saturday morning, November 16, 2019.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2019. Visitation at 1PM, service at 2PM at Shady Grove Church of God in Pinewood, TN. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on February 17, 1929 in Madison, Wisconsin, Barbara was the daughter of the late Ora Richards and Charles (Mike) Berry.

Barbara is survived by her son: John Thomas Stevens II of Hickman County; daughters: Michele (Ted) Kinnane of Murfreesboro, Candace Flowers of Hickman County, Cynthia “Cindy” L. Trombley of Hickman County, Wendy Sue Garvon of Hickman County; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband C.R. Stevens, her daughter: Shellie Stevens; son in law: Gary Garvon; sister Donna Yocum; brothers Charles Berry and Pete Richards.
