Beatrice Lee Baker, age 82, a resident of Columbia, passed away Thursday, March 17, 2022, at NHC Columbia.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens where the E.B.G.B. motorcycle group will lead the Harley Davidson tombstone hearse in the funeral procession. A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Maury County, Beatrice was born on September 29, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Herman Lee Lentz and the late Reecie Cannady Lentz. She married Charles E. Baker on April 20, 1976; he preceded her in death on July 21, 1999. She loved attending church and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of Christ. She was also a member of the UAW American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Beatrice enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family and you rarely found her without a piece of her favorite Juicy Fruit gum.
She is survived by her son, Randy “Tank” (Nikki) Baker, daughter, Tammy (Dennis) Andrews, daughter in law, Teresa Davidson, son in law, Kevin Banks, grandchildren, April (Chris) England, Ashlee (Jason) Bearden, Katie (Bryar) Payton, Kaleb (Megan) Banks, Michael Davidson, Jr., Mackenzie (Logan) Wagner, Logan Baker, Kaden Baker, great grandchildren, Isaac England, Peyton Davidson, Carlee Davidson, Abbey Banks, Ryder Banks, Greyson Bearden, Levi Bearden, nephew, David Lentz, niece, Hope Fullington, and special friend, Dieann Lomax.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael Davidson, daughter, Kathy Banks, and brother, Doris Lentz.
Pallbearers will be members of the E.B.G.B, Allen Fagan, Freddy Roberts, Patrick Burke, Earl Goldman, Brannon Churchwell, Greg McCool, Damian Adair, Syd Miles, Bruce Blasingim, Tony Murphy, Gary Anderson, Ellis Dodson, Anthony Ferris, Hoodlum, and Ron.
Honorary pallbearers will include the members of the UAW American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
