Ben Franklin Burgess, II, age 25, resident of Joelton, passed away on March 21, 2024.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 2:00 - 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with the memorial service beginning at 3:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Ben was born April 8, 1998, in Nashville, Tennessee and was the son of Ben Franklin Burgess and Alisha K. Jones.  He graduated from Lawrence County High School and enjoyed swimming, wrestling, football, and fixing stuff.  Known for his jovial nature, Ben cherished spending time with his friends, always spreading laughter wherever he went. Above all, he held his family dear to his heart.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his stepfather, Michael West; brother, Jeffery Burgess of Nashville; grandparents, Steve Collins and Donna Collins; grandfather, Freddie Jones; uncle, Allen Jones; aunts, Erica Jones, Alice Jones, Tammy Enoch, and Misty Roskam; cousins, Branna, Tyler, Cory, Faith, Ashley Jones, Chelsea Jones, Britney Turnbull, Travis Whitehead, Devin Whitehead, and Summer Flatt; Godfather, Anthony Maynard; and God sister, Destiny Maynard and Alexis Maynard.
