Benedict "Ben" Rocco Rinaudo

Benedict "Ben" Rocco Rinaudo, age 76, beloved husband of Pattie Rinaudo and a resident of Columbia, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral mass to celebrate Ben's life will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 12:00 PM at St. Catherine Catholic Church, with Father Dan Reehil officiating. Following the service, he will be laid to rest in the Garden of Resurrection at Maury Memorial Gardens, with military honors provided by the United States Air Force. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home, where friends and family can pay their respects. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.

Born on June 26, 1947, in Rochester, New York, Ben was the cherished son of the late Benedict Rinaudo and the late Elizabeth Cattalo Rinaudo. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. On September 5, 1970, he united in marriage with Pattie Persikini, and together they were blessed with three children. Ben dedicated thirty years of his life to General Motors before retiring. He was a devout member of St. Catherine Catholic Church.

Ben had a profound love for nature, finding comfort in fishing. He enjoyed playing cards and was an avid collector of coins. But above all, Ben was the beloved patriarch of a large and loving family that he cherished dearly.

Ben is survived by his loving wife, Pattie Rinaudo, and their children: Michael (Jennie) Rinaudo of Spring Hill, TN, Thomas (Betty) Rinaudo of Murfreesboro, TN, and Elizabeth (Andrew) Nielson of Columbia, TN. He is also survived by his brothers, Rocky Rinaudo, Lorenzo (Julie) Rinaudo, Vinnie Rinaudo, and Chester (Linda) Rinaudo, his sister, Margaret Sabin, and his brother-in-law, Michael Persikini. Ben will be remembered with love by his grandchildren: Michael Massey, Gabryelle (Nathan) Williams, Stephen Rinaudo, Alexander Rinaudo, Michaela Rinaudo, Antonio Rinaudo, Cassandra Rinaudo, Christian Rinaudo, Patricia Johnson, Julian Rinaudo, Benedict Nielson, and Patrick Nielson. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Michael Massey, Stephen Rinaudo, Alexander Rinaudo, Antonio Rinaudo, Christian Rinaudo, Julian Rinaudo, Benedict Nielson, and Patrick Nielson.
