Mr. Bernard Napier, son of the late Mr. George W. Napier, Sr. and Mrs. Willadean Gordon Napier, was born May 12, 1964, in Maury County and expired this life suddenly on December 16, 2022.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 21 st at 2:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home with Kenny Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Maury Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, December 21 st from 11:00am until the 2:00pm service at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Bernard received his education at Mt. Pleasant Elementary and Mt. Pleasant High School. He continued his education through the U.S. Army as a vehicle mechanic. He served our country in Iraq and Afghanistan. Bernard was honorably discharged December 15, 2004.
He confessed a hope in Jesus Christ at a very early age and was baptized. He was currently attending Columbia Grace Church of the Nazarene under the loving watch and care of Pastor Jason Caddy, and members. Bernard loved his family and friends, which were many. He never met a stranger. Bernard enjoyed cooking out, football (Titans) and playing his keyboard.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Tabitha G. Napier, son, Thomas White; brother, George W. (Tonja) Napier, Jr.; sisters, Eleanor (Douglas) Anderson, Antionette (Scott) Gaines, Sandra Napier, and Gloria English; three grandchildren; uncles, Mr. Walter (Shirley) Gordon, Mr. James Gordon, Mr. Henry Gordon, and Mr. Herbert Gordon; aunts, Mrs. Stella G. Williams, Mrs. Lynn (Nathan) Gilbreth; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Geran Napier.
