Betty Kincaid Underwood

Betty Kincaid Underwood, age 77, widow of Tony E. Underwood, passed on Saturday, March 25, 2023, at her son, Jason Bart (Caroline) Underwood’s home in Williamsport, TN on hospice care surrounded by family.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 29 ^th , 2023, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Darrell Martin officiating.  Burial will follow at Hargrove Cemetery.  The family will receive family and friends for visitation from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 29 ^th , 2023 at Heritage Funeral Home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.

Born on January 16, 1946, in Franklin, Tennessee, Betty was the daughter of the late Sammie Kincaid and the late Maxine Kincaid.  She was a member at Browns Chapel Church of Christ where her husband ministered for four years.  In her spare time, she enjoyed listening to Guy Penrod and attending his concerts.  She also enjoyed watching UT and Titans football with her late husband, but most of all, she enjoyed ancestry researching, cooking, puzzles and spending time with her family.

Betty is survived by her two sons; Brett Evans (Shannon) Underwood of Lynnville, TN, Jason Bart (Caroline) Underwood of Williamsport, TN, brother, Richard Kincaid of Spring Hill, TN, sister, Linda Johnson of Columbia, TN, grandchildren, Riley Barnes, Devon (Kimberly) Underwood, Tony (Heather) Underwood, Conner (Lindsey) Underwood, Edward Al (Chasity) Palmer, Cassidy (Noah) Jones, Belynda Henry, Caroline Juanita Palmer (Dylan), Devin Palmer (Ryleigh), Andrew Barnes, Jordan Underwood (Patrick), Julia Underwood and Walker Underwood, great grandchildren, Scarlett, Chloe, Liam, Orion, Kyro, Jesse, Emma, Abel, Micha, Zelda, Jaylen, Amara, Ansleigh and Gabe.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Kincaid and great grandson, Lucas Jones.

Serving as pallbearers will be six of Betty’s grandchildren: Devon Underwood, Andrew Barnes, Riley Barnes, Devin Palmer, Connor Underwood and Edward Al Palmer.
