Billy James Watson, age 44, husband of Kimberly Watson, and a resident of Fayetteville, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Maury Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Pulaski with Adam Miller officiating. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the church. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on October 4, 1977, in Pulaski, Billy was the son of James Kent Watson and Connie McClure Dittman. He was proud of his service as a volunteer fire fighter and rescue squad member and a former corrections sergeant at the Giles County Sheriff’s Department. He loved attending and organizing car shows and loved working on cars since he was a young boy. Billy was an extremely supportive competition cheer dad for his daughter and the Cheer Magic All Stars.
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Watson of Fayetteville, TN, father, James Kent (Jackie Dunavant) Watson of Pulaski, TN, mother, Connie McClure Dittman of Michigan, daughters, Juli West and Leah West both of Fayetteville, TN, sister, Chanda Watson of Pulaski, TN, grandparents, Richard & Patricia Denman of Indiana, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James C. & Elizabeth Watson, Billy James McClure, and first wife, April Watson.
