Bobbie Jane Oden

Bobbie Jane Oden, age 70, a resident of Spring Hill, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024.

Her body will lie in state on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Heritage Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on September 23, 1953, in Williamson County, Tennessee, Bobbie was the daughter of the late Walter Lee Davis and the late Louise Hayes Davis. She worked as a cook for Old School Café in Spring Hill and was a member of St. Mark United Primitive Baptist Church in Spring Hill. Affectionately known as “Sista” by many, she loved to cook for everybody.

She is survived by her children, Ferdinand E. Davis, Lazerius “Herb” (Kimella) Davis, William P. Oden, Shanna D. Oden, Marquella K. Oden, siblings, Bessie Ann Caldwell, Eddie Lee Davis, Margaret Davis, Garrone (Jackie) Davis, Lisa (Carlton) McQuirter, grandchildren, Jordan Davis, Adren Davis, Dallas Davis, Donte Smith, Darius Davis, Brandon Hall, Mia Davis, Trenton Davis, Kedron Lawrence, Alexis Oden, KaNiyah Powell, Zariah Baskin, Kingston Baskin, Zyla Caldwell, one great grandchild, KD Lawrence, and close friends, Robert Ratcliff and Angela McKinney.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard Currie, and siblings, Betty Jean Ralston, Walter Lee Davis, Jr., Mary L. Abernathy, and Charlene Wade.
