Bobby "Playboy" Armstrong of Columbia, Tennessee

March 21, 1953 - March 2, 2020

Mr. Bobby Joe “Playboy” Armstrong, age 66, departed his life on March 2, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 2PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Elder Robert Secrets officiating. Burial will follow in Buck Secrets Cemetery. His body will lie in state on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 4-8PM and a visitation will be held on Saturday from 1-2PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He was born on March 21, 1953 in Columbia and was the son of the late Ben D. Armstrong and the late Flora Secrets Armstrong. He attended Culleoka School, retired from Union Carbide, and was a member of the Godfathers Motorcycle Club in Columbia.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Armstrong, sisters, Flora Mae Williams, Willie Pearl Webster, and two nephews, Daryl and Greg Armstrong.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Cedric Armstrong, Tarrick Pillow, David Church; brother Robert Secrets; sister Mary Alice (Eugene) Apple; grandchildren Amaya Lightscy, Kylea Armstrong, Cam Armstrong, Destyn Armstrong, Kari Beasley, Sierra Budine, Tre Pillow, J.T. Rental, Chris Price, Kamari Turner; nieces Nakesha Crawford, Conchetta Holt, Nakia Allenson; nephews, Chris Baugus, Mickey Baugus, Zachariah Secrets, Timmy Armstrong; devoted friend Joe Davis; and a host of relatives and friends.
