Bobby Potts

Mr. Bobby Dewayne Potts, age 47, a resident of Santa Fe, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020, at his residence.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at 1PM at Johnsons Chapel Cemetery with Keith Baker and Rick Points officiating. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on July 14, 1972 in Nashville, Bobby was the son of the late George Carl Potts and the late Diane Scott Johnson. He worked in the construction business his entire life and in his spare time enjoyed grilling out with his friends and family and shooting pool.

He is survived by his son, Lucas Tyler Potts of Columbia; grandmother, Cora Lee Humphrey Potts of Santa Fe; sister, Cindy Potts Ulm of Columbia; nephew, Jacob Beaver; great nephew, Kaleb Beaver; uncle, Jerry Clay Potts of Santa Fe; and aunts: Brenda Kay Potts and Linda Fay Potts both of Santa Fe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, G.C. Potts; and aunt, Patricia Potts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made the Bobby Potts Memorial Fund, C/O Heritage Funeral Home.
