Brandy Thompson

Brandy Lee Thompson, age 47, resident of Columbia, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be on Friday, July 3 ^rd at 11am at Parkway Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Garden of Grace at Maury Memorial Gardens.  The family will visit with friends on Thursday, July 2 ^nd from 5-8pm at the church.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Brandy was born May 25, 1973 and was the daughter of Kenneth and the late Teresa Thompson.  She attended Central High School and was a faithful member of Parkway Baptist Church.  She enjoyed Diamond Art, Crocheting and collecting angels.  She also loved the time spent with her father fishing.  Brandy spent many years dedicating herself to taking care of mentally challenged adults.  She will be missed by all who knew her.

Along with her father, she is survived by her children: Christian Dodson of Columbia and Jacob (Amanda) Dodson of Shelbyville, with her first grandson on the way;  brothers: Joshua Thompson of Columbia and Jamie (Frankie) Thompson of Ethridge; sister: Michelle Thompson of Columbia.

Along with her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister: Tonya May Thompson; uncle: Mike Shelton; and niece: Jackie Collins.

Pallbearers will be Jacob Dodson, Joshua Thompson, Will Street, Kenneth Thompson, Donnie Wray, Jeff Wray, Lee Alan Shelton, and Tyler Thompson.  Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Parkway Baptist Church.
