Brantley Curtis Reid, age 60, a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 1:00 PM at Salter’s Chapel AME Church, 231 Richland Ave, Waverly, TN 37185. The family will also visit with friends on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the church. Heritage Funeral Home in Columbia, TN is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on July 4, 1962, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, Brantley was the son of the late Robert Columbus Reid and the late Lurla Curtis Reid. He was a graduate of Waverly Central High School and a member of Salter’s Chapel AME Church.

He is survived by his sons, Brantley Curtis Reid, Jr. of Waverly, Damon Jay Reid of Waverly, Patrick Aaron Pearson of Waverly, sister, Brigitte Reid Gaines of Columbia, grandson, Kash Bryant Reid of Waverly, nieces, Michaela Gaines of Columbia, Mallory Gaines of Columbia, and aunt, Charlene Curtis of Nashville.
