Brenda Ann Shouse

Brenda Ann Shouse, age 66, wife of Danny Shouse and resident of Columbia passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 2 ^nd at 2:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home with Bob Vassar officiating.  Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens.  The family will visit with friends on Wednesday, March 1 ^st from 4:00 – 8:00 pm and again on Thursday from 1:00 pm until the 2:00 pm service hour at the funeral home.  Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Brenda was born January 11, 1957 in Maury County, Tennessee and was the daughter of the late Louis Junior Eubank and Wilma Franklin Eubank.  She graduated from Columbia Central High School in 1975 and worked in the banking industry for Middle Tennessee and Community First Banks.  She also worked for Maury Regional Hospital in Human Resources.  Brenda was a Master Gardener who loved flowers.  She enjoyed going to craft shows and fairs and her favorite vacation destination was Gatlinburg.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family.  She spoiled her niece and nephew by making sugar cookies for every occasion at their school.  She will be missed dearly.

She is survived by her husband, Danny Shouse of Columbia; sister, Linda (J.J.) Oakley of Culleoka; mother-in-law, Sara Shouse; niece, Christina Oakley of Culleoka; and nephew, Michael Oakley of Culleoka.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Bone, Joel Rainey, Wilbur Davis, Bill Taylor, Michael Johns and Mark Hines.  Honorary pallbearers will be Carney Waldon, friends of Columbia Central Class of 1975 and Pleasant Heights Baptist family.
