Brittany Dannielle Workman

Brittany Dannielle Workman, age 32, a resident of Mt. Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly on Monday morning, June 12, 2023.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Cynthia McGowan officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and again on Thursday from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on June 20, 1990, in Maury County, Brittany was the daughter of George Michael Workman and Stephanie (Clark) Workman. She was a 2008 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. She loved spending time with her children and taking them to the creek. In her younger days, she enjoyed riding horses. To know Brittany was to love her, she had a great sense of humor and was very outspoken. Growing up, her nickname from others was “Smart Mouth.” If she loved you, she would do anything for you. A quote from her family was, “She was a joy to be around, just kidding, only sometimes.” But in all seriousness, she was loved by many and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents, George Michael (Tracy) Workman of Mt. Pleasant and Stephanie Clark (William Hall) Workman of Mt. Pleasant, children, Ka’Bree Workman, Camron Baker, Carson Baker, Khloe Baker all of Mt. Pleasant, sisters, Jessica (Joshua) Francis of Mt. Pleasant, Jessica (Andy) Massey of Mt. Pleasant, Taittumn (Cody) Runions of Mt. Pleasant, fiancé, Brian Rose, grandmother, Jeannie Tice of Mt. Pleasant, nieces and nephews, who lovingly called her “Bubba,” JJ Mowery, Jeorgia Francis, John Cross Francis, Michael Lindsey, Paizlee Hedgepeth, Remi Runions, Wesson Runions, Iver Runions, aunts and uncles, Melinda (Barry) Hodge, Arlene Guthrie, Cainon (Candance) Workman, TJ (Brittany) Tice, great-great aunt, Melba Jacobs, and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles “Chuck” Clark, nephew, Charles “Chip” Francis, and grandparents, Paul Clark, Jr., Neita & Monroe Workman.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Powell, Tevin Guthrie, Jeff Hughes, Buddy Gilliam, TJ Tice, and Barry Hodge.
