James Willard Daniel, age 82 ,a resident of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Maury Memorial Gardens using the Heritage Funeral Home Tombstone Hearse, with Brandon Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at Maury Memorial Gardens. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Those left behind to cherish James’s memory are his daughters: Lisa (Billy) Vedder, Julie (Ernesto) Martinez; brothers: Kenneth Daniel, David Ash; sisters: Patricia Ash, Diane (Brian) Drake; grandchildren: Chandra (Paul) Corn, Zachary Felmly, Quentin Martinez, Jame Felmly, Michael James Daniel, Jesse James Daniel, and great grandchildren: Celes Ezella Marie Cadelina, and Simon James Corn.

James is preceded in death by his wife: Noralee Daniel; son: James Lyle Daniel; and parents: Willard Daniel and Doris Heasley Ash.
