Caden Michael Osborne

Caden Michael Osborne, age 8, a resident of Columbia and Nashville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Randy Cordell officiating.  Following the service, he will be laid to rest in Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens in Nashville, Tennessee.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on November 10, 2015, in Davidson County, Tennessee, Caden was the son of Christopher “Mike” Osborne and Stacy Parman.

Caden attended Highland Park Elementary School and was in the 2nd grade.  He had a vibrant spirit, always enjoying time spent outdoors and listening to his favorite songs. He found joy in playing with toys that lit up and played music, and his enthusiasm for life was contagious. One of Caden's favorite parts of the day was going to school, where he greeted his classmates and teachers with high fives and a smile. His kind heart and caring nature touched everyone who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Zachary Boyce of Nashville; sisters, Faith Osborne of Columbia, Makayla Osborne of Columbia, and Hailey Boyce of Nashville; best friend, Amanda Lambert; special sisters, Abby and Emma Lambert; and grandparents, Aaron and Pat Lambert of Huntsville, Alabama.

Caden was preceded in death by his grandparents, Teresa Taylor, Robert Taylor, William Ronald Parman, and Delores Parman; and great grandmother, Johnnie “Mutt” Osborne.

Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Gibson, Andrew Coates, Steve Williams, Daniel Bolton, Garrick Forster, and Dillon Forster.

The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff at Highland Park Elementary School, Vanderbilt, Dr. Timothy Thomas, Dr. Lauren Mclain, and all other medical professionals and therapists for their dedicated care and support for Caden.
