Calvin Michael Poteete of Erin, Tennessee

January 22, 1966 - January 27, 2020

Mr. Calvin “Michael” Poteete, age 54, a resident of Erin, TN passed away Monday morning, January 27, 2020 at Signature Healthcare in Erin.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 12:30 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Gary Fewell officiating. Burial will follow in Lampley Cemetery in Fairview. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 11 AM-12:30 PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on January 22, 1966 in Dickson, Michael was the son of the late Calvin Matthew Poteete and the late Evelyn Craft Poteete. He previously worked as a security guard and was a member of Trinity Lane Church of Christ in Nashville. He was an avid Tennessee Titans and UT Vols football fan. Michael enjoyed playing the computer.

He is survived by his sister, Wanda J. (William G.) Beard; and nephew, Ryan Beard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Casey M. Poteete, Daisy Dale Poteete, Frances Craft, and Hershel Craft.
