Mrs. Carlon Sue Teasley, age 72, wife of Allen Teasley, and a resident of Crestland Drive in Columbia, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019 at her residence.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 12PM at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in Polk Memorial Gardens. A visitation will also be held on Saturday from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born on May 12, 1946 in Maury County, Carlon was the daughter of the late Willie Cox and the late Mary Inman Cox. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church and previously worked as a seamstress. She enjoyed life and keeping her husband happy. She especially loved her dog, Princess.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons: Chris (Kendra) Teasley of Hendersonville, Dewayne (Mildred) Stricklin of Phoenix, AZ; daughters: Tonia (Mike) Carter of Lynnville, Teresa (Roy) Clouse of Erin; brother: Richard (Debbie) Cox of Illinois; sister: Faye Ring of Columbia; and grandchildren: Alisha Carter, Dana (David) Foster, Justin (Lauren) Carter, Jared Carter, Samuel Stricklin, Zachary Stricklin, and Isabella Stricklin.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Frankie Cox, Charles Cox; sisters: Louise Cox, Jewell Keeton; and brother-in-law: Ronnie Ring.
Pallbearers will be: Roy Clouse, Chris Teasley, Justin Carter, Tommy Ring, Jared Carter, and Tyler Ring.
