Carlton "Ike" Egene Belew

Carlton Egene “Ike” Belew, age 72, a lifelong resident of Summertown, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at his residence.

Born on November 6, 1952, in Summertown, Tennessee, Ike was the son of the late Paulie and Bessie Ketchum Belew. He had a passion for restoring classic cars and took great pride in his craftsmanship. He also enjoyed making jewelry and watches, finding creativity and joy in his work. Above all, Ike cherished the time he spent with his friends and loved ones.

He is survived by his son, Isaac (Allyson) Belew of Ethridge, daughter, Anna Pruitt of Lawrenceburg, brothers, CW (Wanda) Belew, Pete (Robbie) Belew, sisters, Peggy Belew, Shirley (Raymond) Berry, and grandchildren, Mason Belew, Ivee Belew, and Ada Pruitt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy Belew, Raymond Belew, Max Belew, and sisters, Marie Belew, Mariane Willoughby, and Lucy Phillips.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
