Carol Allen

Mrs. Carol Elizabeth Allen, age 67, wife of Keith Allen, and a resident of Lynnville, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Maury Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 11AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Edd Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Lynnwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Born on April 18, 1952 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, Carol was the daughter of the late Loring Osmar and the late Geraldine Neville Osmar. She married Keith Allen on August 2, 1974 and together they had five children. Carol loved gardening, canning, and planting flowers. She also enjoyed crocheting, taking long walks, reading, and working puzzles. Above all, Carol was a Christian and was strong in her faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children: Karen (David) Hunt of Columbia, Kathleen Osmar of Lynnville, Kelly Allen of Lynnville, Mark Allen of Lynnville; brothers: Steve (Mary) Osmar of Dewitt, MI, Ken (Susan) Osmar of Jacksonville, FL, Scott (Kim) Osmar of Evergreen, CO; sisters: Leanne (Greg) Vadnais of East Lansing, MI, Janet (Larry) Goodell of Manchester, MI, Joie (Bill) Pennington of Portland, MI, Laurie (Tony) Gardner of Portland, MI; grandchildren: Timmy Jennette, Nichole Jennette, Seth King, Ethan King, Addison King, T.J. Burleson, David King, and Abby Hunt; and two great grandchildren: Aubreeah and Kylee King.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Robert Allen; and grandson: Justin White.

Pallbearers will be: Russell Allen, David Hunt, Timmy Jennette, Seth King, Ethan King, and Michael King.
