Carol Tomlinson

Carol Jeanette Tomlinson, age 73, resident of Culleoka, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Life Care Center of Columbia.

A memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be held on Wednesday, December 20th, at 6:00 pm at Heritage Funeral Home, with Butch Sisk officiating. The family will be available to receive friends from 4:00 pm until the start of the service. Heritage Funeral Home is overseeing the arrangements.

Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Carol was the cherished daughter of the late Fred Allen and Kathleen Charlotte Mary White Allen. A woman of deep faith, she was an active member of Temple Baptist Church. Carol had a zest for life that was evident in her love for travel and her fondness for animals. She possessed a compassionate heart, always ready to lend a helping hand to others. Above all, her greatest joy was found in the company of her family, particularly her cherished grandchildren. Carol leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and devotion.

She is survived by her loving daughters: Angela (Casey) Potts, Amanda (Chris) Collins, and Crystal (Trey) Parsley; step-sons: Patrick (Missy) Tomlinson, Chris (Tonia) Tomlinson, John (Tanya) Tomlinson, and Keith (Seanda) Tomlinson; sister, Brenda Harvey; sixteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 39 years, Paul Wayne Tomlinson, and her brother, Chris Allen.
